  • While we’re passionate about traditional hot rods, we’re experienced in incorporating modern upgrades like reinforced chassis, 5-speed transmissions, hydraulic brakes, Vintage Air, among many others. These updates ensure the car is both safe and comfortable for today’s roads.

  • The timeline for a build varies depending on the scope of the project and parts availability. We prioritize quality and attention to detail, so while it may take several months to over a year, the result will be worth the wait.

  • Absolutely. We work closely with our clients to understand their vision and ensure every detail aligns with their goals. Your input is welcome at every stage of the project.

  • Costs vary widely depending on the scope of the build, parts sourcing, labor involved, and a consumables fee added to every invoice that varies on consumptions of shop goods. Most importantly it depends on the condition of your project. You will receive a bi- weekly bill that will provide a detailed outline of work completed and parts purchased until completion.

  • Our builds are designed to meet your needs, whether you’re looking for a showpiece or a reliable vehicle for weekend drives or cross-country trips. We ensure a balance of beauty, performance, and functionality.

  • Yes, we provide regular updates and maintain open communication throughout the build. You’ll always know the status of your project and have a say in key decisions. This can be done in the form of your choice including phone calls, photos, and emails.

  • Absolutely. We’re passionate about the hunt for vintage parts and take pride in sourcing components that bring authenticity to every build. We offer a discounted hourly rate for sourcing parts that will be added to your bi-weekly bill as needed. We suggest collecting parts as soon as possible for any build you have in mind.

  • While every project is unique, we stand by the quality of our work and will make any necessary adjustments.

  • Yes, we’re always excited to discuss new projects and bring your vision to life, however, we are on a waitlist. We work diligently to get your project in as soon as possible and wait times may vary depending on current work load.   • We do not provide fixed estimates for full builds or restorations, as hot rods often reveal unforeseen challenges once work begins. Instead, we offer a thorough consultation where we review the state of your project, discuss your vision, and provide expert recommendations. This approach ensures transparency and allows us to deliver the highest quality results tailored to your goals.

  • To begin a full build project a deposit will be required and is based on the scope of the build. For maintenance and repair a deposit is not required. Billing is done weekly, or bi-weekly depending on preferences. You will receive an email including a detailed description of work completed by the hour, parts, and a consumables charge. Invoices can be paid in cash, credit card and bank transfer through our online portal, Quickbooks. If you have further questions, please contact Admin@hotrodpreserve.com.

  • Yes! We welcome current clients and the public to the shop. We kindly ask that visitors come on a Friday before or after lunch from 8-1 or 2-5:30. You can always set up an appointment outside of these hours.
